Our story begins with four ambitious individuals with a vision of creating a company that would change the world of IT. Fast forward a year, and we are now a team of 200+ employees and still growing!

But how did we get here? What made us grow from a small team to a thriving company in such a short time?

Well, buckle up and get ready to learn the 7 secrets of our success!

This blog will reveal the secrets that made us grow from a small startup to a top IT company in the USA. With each secret, we'll dive into the lessons we learned along the way. So, get ready to roll the dice and start your journey to success!

1. Build A Family Culture

From the very beginning, our directors had a vision of creating a company culture that felt like a family. He wanted everyone to feel valued and appreciated, and he exemplified this through his actions and leadership. One of his most successful initiatives was implementing an open-door policy, where employees could walk into his office anytime to discuss anything they wanted.

Another way we strengthened our family culture was through our weekly "FunFoodFriday" & impromptu happy hours. Every Friday, we throw a lunch party for all the employees. This is not just meant for employees to bond over food and laughter; it is more than that. It is a time to celebrate the hard work and dedication of the entire team.
Creating a family culture has a huge impact on our growth. It has allowed us to attract and retain top talent, foster strong relationships between employees, and promote a sense of community within our company. This, in turn, has led to increased productivity, better collaboration, and higher employee morale.

One of our developers, a recent graduate, was struggling to adjust to the fast-paced environment. The team rallied around him, offering support and guidance, and soon he was thriving. This could be successful, especially because of FunFoodFriday. This let our developer break the ice and feel comfortable with the entire team. This experience taught us the value of creating a family culture that supports and encourages one another.

2. Offering Unbeatable Employee Benefits

We believe that our employees are the backbone of our success, which is why we offer an extensive benefits package. Our HR team works hard to ensure everyone feels valued and appreciated, offering health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

One of the benefits that our employees have well received is our flexible work schedule. We understand that everyone has different schedules, so we allow employees to choose the hours that work best for them. This has been especially beneficial for parents who need to pick up their kids from school or have other responsibilities.
Offering employee benefits has a significant impact on our growth. It helps us attract and retain top talent, increase employee morale and job satisfaction, and promote a positive work-life balance.

One of our UX designers, a new parent, was having a hard time balancing work and family. Our HR team offered her a flexible schedule, allowing her to work from home on certain days. This small change made a big impact on her life, and she was able to balance her work and family responsibilities better.

3. Creating Personalized Career Advancement Plans

Encouraging career advancement is crucial for attracting as well as retaining talent. Every employee should have the opportunity to grow and advance in their career. That's why we've implemented personalized career advancement plans for everyone.

Our HR team works closely with each employee to understand their goals and aspirations. They then create a plan to help them reach those goals, including training and development opportunities, job shadowing, and more.
Encouraging career advancement has a positive impact on our growth. It motivates employees to work harder and achieve their goals, increases job satisfaction and employee morale, and helps retain top talent within our company.

One of our proudest success stories is about a former receptionist who wanted to move into a marketing role. Through her personalized career advancement plan, she received training in marketing. She was given the opportunity to shadow one of our marketing managers. Now, she's a successful marketing coordinator and continues to thrive in her role.

4. Empowering Employees By Giving Them a Voice

Every employee deserves a voice and the opportunity to share their ideas and thoughts. That's why we have an open-door policy and regular employee feedback sessions.

We've created a more inclusive and collaborative workplace by empowering our employees to share their ideas. The positive impact this has had on our employees and our company has been truly amazing.
One of our marketers, a former teacher, had a passion for education. She suggested creating a training program for new hires, and we listened. Today, our training program is one of the best in the industry, and she oversees it. This experience taught us the value of giving our employees a voice and valuing their ideas and opinions.

5. Celebrating Every Achievement, Big or Small

We celebrate every single achievement, no matter how big or small. That's why we have a monthly recognition program where employees can nominate their colleagues for outstanding performance. It's a way for us to show appreciation for their hard work and dedication.

We create a positive and motivated work environment by celebrating our employees' achievements. Our employees feel like their hard work is being recognized, which has profoundly impacted their overall satisfaction and happiness at work.
One of our most memorable celebrations was when one of our sales representatives broke a company record for the most sales in a month. We threw a big party in her honor and made sure she felt appreciated and valued.

6. Providing Opportunities To Lead

Everyone on the team deserves an opportunity to lead and make a difference. That's why we offer leadership training and development programs for all employees.

By providing leadership opportunities, we've not only helped our employees grow, but we've also improved the overall functioning of our company. Our employees feel empowered and motivated to make a difference, which has significantly impacted our growth and success.
One of our HR employees, a former teacher, had always been interested in leading and mentoring others. She was offered the opportunity to lead a team on a training project, and she took it. With support from HR and the rest of the company, she was able to successfully lead the project, developing her leadership skills and gaining confidence in her abilities. This opportunity opened doors for her within the company and allowed her to pursue her passion for leadership and mentorship.

7. Prioritizing A Positive Work-Life Balance

We understand that a positive work-life balance is essential for a happy and healthy workforce. Employees should be able to enjoy both their work and personal lives. That's why we offer flexible schedules and telecommuting options and encourage taking time off when needed.

By prioritizing a positive work-life balance, we've seen a significant improvement in employee morale, satisfaction, and overall productivity.
One of our employees, a single mother, struggled to balance her work and family
responsibilities. We worked with her to create a flexible schedule that allowed her to take care of her family while still meeting her job responsibilities. This improved her work-life balance and made her a more productive and motivated employee.

Conclusion

These seven secrets have helped us grow from a 4-employee team to a 200+ employee team in just four years. We have created a flourishing IT company by focusing on our family culture, offering amazing employee benefits, encouraging career advancement, leading from the front, celebrating every small thing, fostering collaboration and communication, and creating a positive work-life balance.

We encourage you to try these strategies in your own company and see their positive impact on your growth and success. Remember, success is a journey, not a destination. Keep moving forward and always strive to do better.
